Your mission
As a Firmware Development Engineer (m/f/d) you support our team in the development of innovative and powerful firmware solutions. In this role, you will work on the development and optimization of firmware for our latest products and contribute significantly to the success of our technical projects.

Exciting tasks are waiting for you
- You are active in firmware development for next-generation flash controllers and play a key role in the development of the security architecture and new security functions
- You work on concepts for data and firmware security and their realization
- You collaborate closely with our test team to achieve comprehensive validation of the security functions of our products
- You support product certifications according to internationally recognized security standards (e.g. FIPS, NIST, TCG, OCP)
Your profile
- Degree in engineering in computer science or a related field (BSC, MSC or equivalent)
- You are open-minded and enjoy working in a team
- Professional experience in the field of embedded software development is an advantage, but beginners are also welcome
- Very good knowledge of common symmetric and asymmetric encryption and signature methods
- Knowledge of the legal requirements in the area of cyber security (Cyber Resilience Act)
- Very good knowledge of the C programming language
- Experience with microprocessors, the architecture of embedded systems, compilers and development tools for embedded software
- Experience with certification processes according to internationally recognized security standards is a plus
- Experience with specific host interfaces for storage devices (such as PCIe/NVMe) is an advantage
- Good written and spoken English skills are required
